This company changed everything at once, and fast! As part of their relocation to Texas, they also decided to change their business model and outsource their entire IT function before the move.
Validus was tapped to ensure a secure and successful move, then to manage the full scope of their IT function including infrastructure, staffing, applications, vendors, budget management and strategic planning.
As with most companies, they couldn’t afford downtime or glitches during this process. They were taking a calculated but significant risk with the move, and we were ready partners in helping them manage this high-risk environment.
We have a great team, but also had to augment our talent pool quickly to ensure continuity of excellent service to our existing clients. We were able to hire talented people, many of whom remain with the company.
One of our points of pride is our ability to partner with any and all other vendors/providers involved. It’s not always easy, especially when one of the vendors is on the way out, but it’s often the reality of the situation and requires professionalism, knowledge and positivity.
The primary finding in the discovery process was that the company’s security risk was not sustainable. We were able to reprioritize and flex the budget to ensure the company’s IT security processes were stable before they were compromised.
